During the first two years of the project the eLene2learn network collected more than 60 case studies, where teachers and students of Secondary and Higher Education provide practical tips and indications on their "first hand" learning experiences using ICT and digital media. This "collection" contains two different types of report:

  • The "How to guide" scenarios describe current practices, tools and methodologies used in the application of ICT to develop learning to learn competencies. The scenarios were collected through Focus Group with students and teachers; Download the printable version of the "How to guide"
  • The Case studies report, in detail the implementation of  practices, methodologies and tools used within real classroom settings. Recommendations and suggestions help you assess the benefit of replicating these practices, methodologies, etc. in your own context. These resources are highly valuable as they come from a direct evaluation by  students and teachers involved.  Some of these resources are (also) partly available in Italian, French, Greek, Finnish, Polish, Spanish and German. Using Web 2.0 tools to design a strategy

Getting familiar with using Web 2.0 to design a strategy of social media campaign.

.Way of use (as individual or group activity; tasks; etc.)
This method is designed for group working but it is applicable also for individual working. Tasks for students: preparing a strategy of social media campaign using shared documents. Teacher prepares shared folder for students and creates subfolder with model documents and schedules of work. The schedule contains milestones, to present and discuss each other groups partial products (documents). Each group (or student) creates its own subfolder with documents. Each document represents a single step of the strategy of social media marketing campaign. First document contains chapters with short description of strategy. Students during the class group fill following chapters. All documents are filled with a marketing campaign strategy in social media. Assessment is in part dependent on the date of filling (preparation) documents by students.

.Advantages of such a use for Transition. Innovative use
High level of motivation. High level of productivity. Elimination of the fear of a difficult undertaking by gradually increasing the difficulty. The activity develops a better understand of what digital literacy is. Students also improve the ability to work with a computer and the internet (as a tools to learning and work).

.Disadvantages of such a use
Some students in groups are not active or depend on other group's participants activities.
